Yuja panorama

Building a more accessible learning experience. Discover tools that help identify accessibility barriers in digital course materials and provide students with flexible ways to engage with content.

About YuJa Panorama

YuJa Panorama is a digital accessibility platform that integrates with learning management systems, including Canvas. It helps instructors identify potential accessibility issues in digital course materials and provides tools and guidance to improve supported content.

Panorama can also provide students with alternative formats for supported materials, helping them access course content in ways that better fit their learning preferences. Accessibility tools support inclusive course design, but they do not replace an instructor's review of content or the need to follow applicable accessibility requirements.

Key Features

Panorama provides tools such as:

✓ Accessibility Indicators

Review accessibility scores or indicators for supported files and identify content that may need attention.

✎ Content Remediation

Identify common accessibility issues in supported documents and use available guidance or remediation tools to address them.

⇄ Alternative Formats

Access available alternative formats—such as audio, HTML, or ePub—when supported for a particular file and enabled by the institution.

◐ Reading and Display Options

Use available reading or display adjustments to support individual preferences and improve readability.

Using Panorama in Canvas

Start by signing in to Canvas with your TSU credentials and opening the appropriate course.

  1. Open your Canvas course. Navigate to the course containing the learning materials you need.
  2. Locate Panorama controls. Look for accessibility indicators or alternative-format options associated with supported course materials. The exact location may vary by integration and course configuration.
  3. For faculty: Review accessibility indicators, open available guidance, and address issues in your original documents or with the supported remediation tools.
  4. For students: Select an available alternative format for a supported file if the option is provided.

Note: The tools available and their placement may vary depending on TSU's Canvas integration, course setup, and licensed features. If you do not see Panorama, contact the designated TSU support team.
